Two orders for Yangzijiang Shipbuilding

Covid-19 won’t stop Chinese shipyard Jiangsu Yangzijiang Shipbuilding which recently received confirmation of important orders for new containerships.

The contract, signed with the investment shipping company Tiger Group, is worth $1.15 billion and includes the construction of two 14,000 TEU dual-fuel container ships with options for another eight vessels.

The two new vessels are scheduled for delivery from mid 2022.
