The continuing restrictions brought about by the pandemic crisis are causing further difficulties for cruise lines, whose plans to resume operations have been further delayed.
The latest to do so are four big companies in the Carnival Corporation group. First and foremost, Carnival Cruise Line has announced that it is extending its lockdown in the United States until 31st May.
Princess Cruises has also decided to cancel its cruises in Alaska, Canada, New England and the Pacific.
Finally, Seabourn announced the cancellation of 19 cruises scheduled for next summer and Holland America Line called off its Alaska, Canada/New England and Pacific Coast itineraries.
