EU infrastructure and transport: Italy in last place

On 19 March, the European Commission's Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport (Dg Move) published a “scoreboard” on its website in which each Member State is given a score based on nine specific indicators, plus a general one. Italy is at the bottom of the list in terms of efficiency of rail and port services. On the other hand, the national positioning in research and sustainability is excellent

A common circular economy policy

In the first quarter of 2019, the European Commission announced its intention to publish a communication to identify Community policy areas for action to foster the development of the circular economy.
