Gianluigi Aponte’s group has apparently placed an order with the Chinese shipyard Hengli Heavy for six LNG-fuelled dual-fuel 22,000 TEU capacity vessels
This is not the first time the Italian-Swiss shipping line has turned to Hengli shipbuilding group. Last year, they had both signed a framework agreement for building twenty new vessels, ten 21,000 TEU units for $215 million each and ten 24,000 TEU ones for $230 million each.
