Koos Timmermans new Port Authority commissioner

Rotterdam, change in leadership

Koos Timmermans is the new commissioner at the Port of Rotterdam Authority. On the recommendation of the Supervisory Board, the shareholders appointed him to lead the Port Authority because of his knowledge of the financial sector and his experience with complex projects in the areas of financing, risk management and international alliances.

Vice President of ING Bank for many years, Timmermans is clear on what challenges the port will face in the medium to long term, from energy transition to digitalization. He said that he is honored  to offer his contribution  as commissioner of  Rotterdam Port Authority

Koos Timmermans will be in office for four years. His term will last until October 1st, 2025.
