Liquefied Natural Gas supplier Titan Lng has announced that it will expand its bunkering fleet with the acquisition of three new units for use in the ports of Zeebrugge, Rotterdam and Lübeck..
The construction of the barges will be financed with European funds from the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF). In particular, the company has secured €12.6 million from Brussels.
“The project will enable the implementation of LNG refueling points in the main European ports, helping to decarbonize the sector”, reads a European Commission document.
