Terminal Darsena Toscana (TDT) submitted an application for building & managing 50% of Darsena Europa Terminal to the Port Network Authority (PNA) yesterday.

The news was announced by the special PNA commissioner Luciano Guerrieri, on the sidelines of the Management Committee meeting to approve the Port Network Authority’s Balance Sheet and Annual Report which took place this morning.

The Grimaldi Group’s terminal operator’s application is designed to ensure its terminal activity can continue, in conjunction with a project proposal to reorganize the areas and quays it leases

Together with its request to manage part of Darsena Europa, TDT has submitted an application to modify the nature of its state concession. It involves the retrocession of areas totaling 150,000m2 and 492m of quays and the acquisition of a 194,000m2 area and 600m of quays in the Darsena Europa Terminal.

At the same time, the terminal company has requested an extension of its current lease to suit its proposed investment and industrial project.
