by Port News Editorial Staff

On the environmental front, ONE has achieved a 65% reduction in Scope 1 emissions intensity compared with its 2008 level. The company has also joined the Ship Recycling Transparency Initiative (SRTI) and has expanded the scope of its externally verified emissions data to include upstream transport and distribution (Scope 3, Category 4).

In a press release, the cruise line also highlights the progress it has made in digitalization and innovation, which have helped to improve the efficiency and reliability of its services. Currently, 93% of customer bookings are processed on ONE’s digital platforms.

Results were also good on the social front, with its Singapore offices achieving their first ISO 45001 certification. This international standard certifies the adoption of a management system designed to protect health and safety at work. The company has also continued to invest in training future professionals in the maritime sector through initiatives such as the MaritimeONE Scholarship Programme in Singapore, in support of the next generation of industry professionals.

In terms of governance, ONE has strengthened its supply chain management: 98% of its new suppliers comply with the company’s Supply Chain Management Guidelines. ONE has also retained its ISO/IEC 27001 certification for information security and reported that it had not recorded any cases of corruption during the reporting period.
