CMA CGM has resumed a regular service on the Suez route for sailings connecting China with the main north-western European ports.
Since 22nd July, the FAl3 service has in fact been partially operational, only in the eastbound direction. Three vessels have already completed the route (Le Havre, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, Tangier Med, Port Klang, Ningbo) and the others will follow the same.
Westbound sailings, however, remain unchanged, continuing to use the longer Cape of Good Hope route. The eastbound option is operated exclusively by CMA CGM as part of the OCEAN Alliance’s NEU5 service.
