The Saudi terminal operator Red Sea Gateway Terminal has signed an agreement with CMA CGM to set up a potential joint venture to develop and manage Terminal 4 at the Saudi port of Jeddah.
The new terminal will have a 2.6 million TEU handling capacity and will be located next to the current RSGT terminals. The £300 million agreement will include new state-of-the-art infrastructure, advanced handling equipment and next-generation digital and sustainability facilities.
