Inclusion enriches work in ports

by Port News Editorial Staff

For  International Women’s Day 2026, the North Tyrrhenian Port Network Authority (PNA) has decided to publish a short video, created with the enthusiastic collaboration of its personnel. It’s based on a simple but powerful idea: work is not just what we do every day, but what brings people, stories and communities together.

This is particularly true in ports where every activity, large or small, contributes to keeping a complex system of skills, responsibilities and collaboration running smoothly.

It is precisely this network of relationships and professionalism that makes port work a collective experience, capable of generating not only economic but also social value.

In this video, the Port Authority wanted to put across what this bond means in a simple, concise  way: work as an opportunity for participation, growth and joint responsibility.

March 8th is an important occasion for  remembering just how important  it is to continue building increasingly inclusive, respectful work environments, capable of bringing out the full value of the contributions of the women and men who bring our port  network to life every day.
