by Port News Editorial Staff

The new ITS TECLOG3 “Logistics & Intermodal Technician” training course will be presented at Livorno’s Old Fortress’ Sala Ferretti conference hall tomorrow, from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.

The initiative is aimed at high-school and university graduates, their families, school headmasters and teachers, as well as companies in the maritime, port and logistics cluster, with the aim of illustrating the course programme which is set to start in October 2025, registration deadlines and how to enrol.

The two-year training course is co-financed by Tuscany Regional Administration as part of the POR FSE+ 2021-2027 programming and promoted by the ISYL Foundation – Italian Super Yacht Life, in partnership with the North Tyrrhenian Port Network Authority (PNA) and the Maremma & Tyrrhenian Chamber of Commerce.

“The ITS TECLOG3 course has been designed to cater for the requirements of  companies in the maritime, port and logistics cluster,’ says Claudio Capuano, head of  the PNA’s training dept. “The previous ITS TECLOG course, which is currently coming to an end, is proving to be very successful: many students have already received job offers at the end of their curricular work-placements, and the companies involved are very satisfied with the results the participants have achieved and the skills they have acquired.”

The course is aimed at 25 young people up to 35 years of age with a high school diploma and a university degree who are interested in following a highly professionalizing technical-specialist training program, to consent highly qualified entry into a strategic sector for the local economy.

The Open Day provides an important opportunity for the participants and their families to meet and get to know the project promoters and the partner companies involved in this training program.”
