The president of the North Tyrrhenian Port Network Authority, Davide Gariglio, signed the provision nominating the Management Committee this morning. In addition to Mr. Gariglio himself, who chairs the committee, its members will include Livorno’s Harbour Master, Giovanni Canu, Nerio Busdraghi, appointed by Livorno municipality, and Carlo Torlai, representing Piombino municipality
As per Article 9, paragraph 2 of the Port Reform Law, thirty days after the request for appointments, the Committee may be validly constituted even pending the nomination of Tuscany Regional Administration’s representative, which has not yet been received
The inclusion of the Committee member appointed by Tuscany Regional Administration will be formalized with a subsequent provision.
