MSC launches new service from Australia

MSC is launching  a new standalone service from Australia to the US East Coast.

The service will start in February 2026.  It will call at the following ports: Philadelphia – Savannah – Freeport – Rodman – Papeete – Auckland – Sydney – Melbourne – Brisbane – Tauranga – Rodman – Cristobal – Philadelphia.

According to the Swiss-Italian carrier, 11 ships will be deployed on this weekly rotation.

There are currently only two direct services of this kind, one by CMA CGM and another jointly operated by MSC, Hapag Lloyd and Maersk.
