A Norwegian maritime company delegation met North Tyrrhenian Port Network Authority representatives to discuss environmental sustainability development projects at Palazzo Rosciano yesterday.

The delegation, led by Innovation Norway, a government agency under the Ministry of Trade & Industry and Norway’s official government organization for the promotion of foreign trade, took part in an institutional meeting with  Claudio Capuano, Senior PNA Promotion Executive, and a number of officials from the Authority’s planning & research department and its budget & finance department.

During the meeting, the Port Network Authority presented the Norwegian representatives its strategic environmental sustainability objectives, actions and initiatives. The PNA’s commitment to environmental sustainability has led to a  package of investments worth approximately €100 million, financed mainly with resources from the National Complementary Plan and the National Recovery & Resilience Plan.

The projects the PNA presented include quay electrification, already commissioned (for €77 million) and the construction of photovoltaic systems in its Network ports (worth €20 million).
