12 ships worth 1.08 billion dollars. That’s what the orders secured by Yangzijiang Shipbuilding (Holdings) Ltd in July amount to.

The Chinese shipbuilding company has secured contracts to build and deliver ten 7,000 TEU container ships and two 50,000 DWT MR tankers.

The company also signed a letter of intent for the construction of five additional dual fuel containerships. In total, orders for 15 containerships have been placed by Seaspan Corporation. The vessels are due for delivery between 2023 and 2024.
