DSV, Kuehne + Negel and Sinotrans Ltd  have come in top on the list of the 25 biggest global container shippers compiled by Armstrong & Associates Inc.

The ranking, published by the US analyst firm, reported on Linkedin by the Managing Director of Esa Group, Gian Enzo Duci, takes the total number of containers handled by each of them as a parameter, based on information provided directly by the companies in question.

The global forwarders in the top 10 are mainly European: DHL Global Forwarding came in fourth with 3.29 million TEUs, followed by the French Ceva Logistics, taken over  by CMA CGM in 2019, handling 1.9 million TEUs.

Nippon Express (1.79 million TEUs); LX Pantos (1.56 million TEUs); C.H. Robinson (1.42 million TEUs); Kerry Logistics Network (1.24 million TEUs) and Bolloré Logistics (1.24 million TEUs) are in the second half of the list .
