Kuhne + Nagel closed their third quarter with a net turnover of 9.97 billion euros; a 16% increase on the same period last year. Overall, the company reported a net turnover of 30 billion euros between January and September; +40% on the previous year.
The excellent financial performance of the Swiss logistics group was driven by the results in the shipping division, with a net turnover up 27%. Overall, the company handled 3.3 million TEUs in the first nine months.
Air freight also performed well. Net turnover increased by 7% to 2.7 billion euros in the third quarter of 2022. A total of 1.7 million tonnes of goods were handled in the first nine months of the year.
