Bulk carrier, the Toto BR, purchased

F.lli Cosulich expanding its fleet

by Port News Editorial Staff

The Fratelli Cosulich Group is expanding its fleet with the addition of a dry bulk carrier, the Toto BR,  to its subsidiary, Pimlico Ltd. The vessel, renamed the Toto, has been bought by a leading Italian operator with the assistance of the Turci law firm, part of  Watson Farley & William.

The Toto, which will be chartered bareboat to Argo Shipping Ltd, is the eighth ship in the Group’s fleet of general cargo vessel.  In addition to these, there are six another bunker tankers operating in Singapore, bringing the total number of ships in Fratelli Cosulich Group’s fleet to 14, plus the LNG Small Scale & Bunker Vessel (the Alice Cosulich) and another sister ship that has yet to be christened.

The purchase  of the Toto Br is yet another in a series of acquisitions that  Ft.lli Cosulich has made over the last few months. Only a few days ago the first LNG bunker tanker was launched, christened the Alice Cosulich, while in February the Group acquired another bulk carrier, called the Saturnia.
