Ocean Network Express (ONE) has finalized new deals with Japan’s Hyundai Heavy Industries and Nihon Shipyard for building 10 boxships.
The ten new 13,700 TEU capacity vessels will be delivered in 2025. They will be designed to run on ammonia and methanol.
The new ships will supplement a fleet of 220 containerships and a total capacity of 1.6 million TEUs.
