by Port News Editorial Staff

Digitalization, environmental sustainability and automation. What impact will they have on the professional needs of the ports under the North Tyrrhenian Port Network Authority’s jurisdiction? What are the traffic segments that will have the greatest impact on maritime-port employment policies at North Tyrrhenian Port Network level?

These are some of the questions that the new study carried out by Bocconi University on behalf of the Port Network Authority tries to answer.

The report will be presented on Wednesday 1st March, starting at 10.30 a.m., in Livorno’s Old Fortress’ Ferretti conference hall.

The Port Authority’s top management and key stakeholders from the port community will be taking part in the initiative.

The event will also feature a round table with ‘ForMare Toscana’ representatives.  ‘ForMare Toscana’ was  launched in 2019 in view of  setting up  a network of training alliances in Tuscany to  promote  and supervise ‘sea worker’ training.
